It's hard to have perspective when your house is a literal wreck, your marriage is stretched thin, you haven't had a shower all day, or a moment to yourself for that matter, and your child is having their 75th meltdown of the day. But somehow, there is grace that can peek through even at that worst moment to whisper in your ear "have faith.” Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen. Believing that one day, you will have time again to keep your house in order, to brush your hair or exercise. Believing that one day you will get to go grocery shopping on your own. And hoping that you will have no regrets. But knowing that even if you do, there is enough grace for that too. So, my prayer for us, sweet Mommies and Daddies, is that we are able to find contentment in the midst of all the chaos and remember that it's just a phase.
